Important Notice: By using Adorna, you consent to our use of artificial intelligence services including Google Gemini to process your photos for virtual try-on features. Your photos may be processed as biometric data. Please read Section 7 carefully.
1Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Adorna! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Adorna website, mobile application, browser extension, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through a notice on our Services.
2Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. Our virtual try-on feature requires users to be 18+ for AI avatar generation.
By using our Services, you represent and warrant that:
- •You are at least 18 years old
- •You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- •You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- •You consent to the processing of your photos by AI services
3Account Registration
3.1 Creating an Account
To access certain features, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and accept responsibility for all activities under your account.
3.2 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or uploading inappropriate content. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
4Services Description
Adorna provides an AI-powered fashion platform with:
Virtual Try-On
AI-powered visualization of clothing on your photo
Digital Wardrobe
Organize and manage your clothing collection
AI Image Detection
Automatic detection and categorization of clothing
Connections
Share wishlists and sizes with friends and family
5Subscription and Payment
Adorna offers premium subscription plans processed through Apple App Store (via RevenueCat).
- •Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually through your Apple ID
- •Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before period end
- •Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy
- •Cancel at any time through your Apple ID account settings
We also offer one-time purchase style packs for additional virtual try-on credits. These are non-refundable consumable purchases.
6User Content and Conduct
6.1 User Content
You retain ownership of content you upload (“User Content”). By uploading, you grant Adorna a license to store, process, and transmit your photos to AI services for virtual try-on generation.
Photo Usage Commitment
- ✓We will NEVER use your photos for marketing without explicit consent
- ✓We will NEVER use your photos to train AI models
- ✓We will NEVER share your photos publicly or sell them
- ✓Your photos are processed solely to provide the virtual try-on service
6.2 Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- ✗Upload illegal, offensive, or inappropriate content
- ✗Upload photos of other people without their consent
- ✗Upload photos of minors (under 18) for virtual try-on
- ✗Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit our Services
- ✗Violate any applicable laws or regulations
6.3 AI-Generated Content License
For clothing items you add to your wardrobe that are processed by our AI polishing feature (“Polished Items”), you grant Adorna a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute these Polished Items for:
- •Promotional materials and social media (Pinterest, Instagram, etc.)
- •Style inspiration boards and curated collections
- •Marketing Adorna's services
What This License Covers
- ✓AI-polished garment images (clothing items only)
- ✓Wardrobe item images with background removed
What This License Does NOT Cover
- ✗Your personal photos, avatars, or selfies
- ✗Virtual try-on results showing your likeness
- ✗Any images containing your face or body
7Virtual Try-On, AI Services & Biometric Data
IMPORTANT: This section contains critical information about how we process your photos using artificial intelligence.
7.1 Third-Party AI Services
We use the following AI service:
Google Gemini (Google LLC)
AI-powered image analysis and generation for clothing detection, categorization, and virtual try-on. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Gemini API Terms.
Note: When using the paid Gemini API tier, Google does not use your data to train its AI models.
7.2 Biometric Data Notice
When you upload photos for virtual try-on, our AI systems may extract biometric data including:
- •Facial geometry and facial feature measurements
- •Body shape, proportions, and measurements
- •Pose estimation data
Purpose & Retention:
Biometric data is collected solely to provide virtual try-on services. It is processed in real-time and NOT permanently stored. It is discarded after processing.
7.3 State-Specific Notices
Illinois Residents (BIPA)
Pursuant to BIPA (740 ILCS 14/1): We collect biometric identifiers from your photos for virtual try-on services. Biometric data is processed ephemerally and not permanently stored. By using virtual try-on, you execute a written release authorizing this collection.
Texas Residents (CUBI)
Pursuant to Texas CUBI (Tex. Bus. & Com. Code Ann. § 503.001): We capture biometric identifiers for providing virtual try-on services. We do not sell, lease, or disclose biometric identifiers except as described in this policy.
Consent
BY UPLOADING A PHOTO FOR VIRTUAL TRY-ON, YOU PROVIDE YOUR EXPRESS, INFORMED, WRITTEN CONSENT TO THE COLLECTION, USE, AND DISCLOSURE OF YOUR BIOMETRIC DATA AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.

9. Intellectual Property
All content and functionality of the Services are owned by Adorna or our licensors. Virtual try-on images are for your personal, non-commercial use only.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. Virtual try-on results are AI-generated approximations and may not be 100% accurate.
11. Limitation of Liability
Adorna shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Adorna from claims arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. For EU consumers, you retain mandatory consumer protection rights under your local law.
14. General Provisions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Adorna. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
